Mystery Crates – How the Odds and Prizes Work
Mystery crates are a gamble with dukes or zCoin: most of the time you get something useful, and now and then something legendary.
How it works
- Open Crates in the NASTY Z APP and pick a crate.
- Pay its price in dukes (or zCoin for the Mythic crate).
- The crate rolls a rarity, then an item worth about that rarity.
- The prize waits in Market › Wallet & pickups – take it into your market box in game. Tickets, zCoin and dukes go straight into your wallets.
The crates

Only items you can also get in normal play – from loot, traders or crafting – can drop. Store and donor items never come out of a crate.
Rarities and odds
Every crate card in the app shows its exact odds as a coloured bar. The defaults for the dukes crates:

On average a crate gives back less than it costs – it is a gamble, not an investment. Epic and legendary drops are announced to the whole server.
Opening many at once
Use the ×5, ×10, ×20 or All buttons on a crate to open up to 50 in one go. You see a summary of every prize and its rarity, and all prizes land in your pickups.

Where is my crate prize?
In the NASTY Z APP under Market › Wallet & pickups. Move it into your market box in game to take it out.
What happened to the Anything Crate?
It was removed – its random pool could hand out items that should only come from the store.
Why are crates more expensive than before?
Prices went up and rare prizes got rarer in October 2026, so legendary items stay special. Bigger prices also mean bigger prizes for each rarity.
