Why play on NASTY Z?

Most 7 Days to Die servers are the vanilla game with a few mods on top. NASTY Z is built around one idea: everything you do should count – even after a wipe. That's why the server runs its own custom systems and a full companion app, the NASTY Z APP, that connects to your in-game character the moment you sign in with Steam.

• PvE only – players can't hurt each other, bases can't be griefed, loot can't be stolen.
• Wipe-proof progress – your Vault, your badges, your profile, your ViP perks and your Hall of Fame records survive every wipe.

What makes NASTY Z different

The NASTY Z APP and live web map

Open nastyz.eu on your phone or second screen and you get a live map of the world: online players with their health and level, every land claim with its protection timer, traders with opening hours, player vending machines with their items and prices, and your own vehicles. You can find your lost car, plan a loot run or check if your base is still protected – without alt-tabbing.

Wipe-proof Vault

Your Vault is personal storage that lives outside the world save. Put your best weapon, your armor set or your rare mods in it and they are still there after the next wipe. Vault slots are unlocked with Vault Keys.

Player market, auctions and buy orders

Sell anything from your market box for dukes, bid on auctions, post buy orders ("I want 500 forged steel at 20 each") and even buy straight from other players' vending machines – from the web, while you are offline.

Siege mode – call the horde to your own base

Think your base can hold? Start a siege: pick a tier from Scout to Nightmare, and waves of zombies, runners, hounds and bosses attack your base from a different side every wave. Every kill pays, and surviving all waves pays out the war chest. Read the full siege mode guide.

173 battle honours, 120 frames and 120 backgrounds

Every kill counts toward a badge – 19 weapon classes, headshots, ferals, radiated, blood moon kills and more. Badges unlock animated profile frames and backgrounds that everyone sees on your profile, the map and the leaderboard. See the battle honours guide.

Events, challenges, invasions and blood moon reports

Daily and weekly challenges pay real rewards. Zombie invasions hit random towns and everyone races to clear them. After every blood moon you get a report with kills, deaths, bases that were hit and the MVP.

Clans, land and your base dashboard

Found a clan with a shared bank and vault, buy whole map regions as private land, and check your base from the app: generator fuel, turret ammo, crops and workstations – with alerts on Discord when something runs out.

How to join the server

1. Start 7 Days to Die on Steam and make sure the game is updated to the current version (V3.3).
2. Open Join a game and search for NASTY Z in the server browser – or use the Join server button on nastyz.eu, which launches the game and connects you.
3. You can also connect directly to play.nastyz.eu:26900.
4. Sign in on nastyz.eu with Steam to unlock the NASTY Z APP for your character.

Server settings

The server runs survival mode with Easy Anti-Cheat enabled, biome progression on and a blood moon every 7 days. Land claims are large (41×41 blocks) so you have room for a real base, and loot respawns weekly. The live settings – difficulty, day length, blood moon horde size, loot abundance, land claim rules and more – are always shown on the server info page, straight from the running server.

Server rules in short

• Be respectful. No racism, harassment or hate speech.
• PvE means PvE. No killing other players, no griefing, no stealing from bases.
• No cheating. No exploits, glitches or duplication. Report bugs – bug hunters get rewarded.
• Build fair. Don't build next to traders or inside POIs you don't own.
• Admins have the final word. Questions? Ask on Discord.

Breaking the rules gets you on the public ban list. Bans of seven days or longer also remove the player's bases.

Wipes – what survives?

Like every 7 Days to Die server, the world is wiped from time to time to keep it fresh and fast. On NASTY Z you never start from zero:

• Your battle honours, frames, backgrounds and profile
• Your lifetime ViP perks (reclaim them with one click)
• Your Hall of Fame records and season history
• Your clan, its members and its vault
