Dukes, Market & Vault – The NASTY Z Economy Explained

How you earn dukes

• Playing. Every zombie and animal kill pays a little, and every hour of active play pays a bonus (standing still doesn't count). There is a daily cap so nobody can farm forever.
• Challenges. Three daily and three weekly challenges – kills, ferals, playtime, distance, blood moons. Finish all of them for a bonus.
• Events and invasions. Weekly competitions, double-pay weekends and zombie invasions with prize pools.
• Siege mode. Every kill pays, and a won siege pays the war chest – see the siege mode guide.
• Trading. Sell loot to other players on the market.

Getting dukes in and out

1. Place a lockable container at your base – that's your market box.
2. Stand next to it and press Use nearest container in the NASTY Z APP (only once).
3. Put dukes in the box and press Deposit. To take them out, use Withdraw – they arrive in your Pickups and you collect them into the box or at your feet.

Every duke in and out is listed in your wallet history, so nothing gets lost.

The market

• Sell: put items in your market box, open Market → Sell, choose amount and price. When it sells, the dukes go to your wallet (minus a small fee). Unsold items come back after 7 days.
• Auctions: start price, optional buy-now, 1–48 hours. If someone outbids you, your dukes come straight back.
• Buy orders: post what you want and at what price – sellers fill it from their box.
• Player shops: buy straight out of other players' vending machines from the web.

What to spend dukes on

• Land. Buy a whole map region as private land that is never reset.
• Clans. Found a clan with a shared bank and vault.
• Siege stakes and cooldowns.
• Casino and NASTY Loto – five number lotteries with growing jackpots. Play for fun, not for profit.
• Mystery crates with weapons, armor and rare mods.

The Vault – your wipe-proof storage

The Vault keeps items outside the world save, so they survive every wipe. Use it for the things you never want to lose: your best weapon, a full armor set, rare mods. Vault slots are unlocked with Vault Keys.

zCoins

zCoins are the premium currency of the zCoin market – packs, keys, chips and plates. You earn them in game and can also get them from supporter packs.
